Q:Can we rotate the buildings or the animals?
A: This is not possible.


Q: Do I have to clear land to place a building on myFarm?
A: Yes you do – you cannot place a building on a plowed or planted tile.

Q:Can a building be moved after placing on myFarm?
A: You just have to click on the building and the MOVE button will appear.

Q: I have noticed people have got animals on top of their crops – how do I do that?
A: You need to place your animals on a cleared plot (if you want to use an existing plowed plot, click on the plowing tool and click on the plot – select clear to convert it back to “grass.”) Please note that you will be charged $20 myFarm cash for doing this. Once your animals are placed go ahead and plow the plot they are standing on and plant your crop. If you click on the animal accidentally while harvesting the plot at a later stage and move it, you will have to repeat this procedure all over again.

Q: When is the fruit ready to be harvested?
A: When it’s ready it will look like it does in the cash shop or sending gifts option. When ready you can click on the tree and you will get a Harvest Option underneath the Cut and Sell Button. If you click on that it will remove the fruit and tell you how much you have made for harvesting it. See the link below to a document put together by a fellow farmer/whiz – Roy Benham. If you click on Graphics Preview and scroll down you will get an image of all the available trees and their various growth stages:

Q: How can I make plants I place come to the foreground?
A: When you select them from your gifts section, the last one selected will appear in the foreground, even if it's placed behind the other objects in 3 dimensions. However, when you reload or refresh your screen, the application appears to figure out which to put at the front according to where they are planted, not when. You can test this out by hitting refresh after planting something (by Simone Foggo)

Q: Is there a freeze option on myFarm?
A: There is no way to freeze your farm if you are planning to go away for a while. The best advice is to plant crops that will take the length of time that you are away to grow. Plan ahead and do not plant anything closer to the time, or make sure you are able to harvest everything before you leave.
You can invite neighbors to harvest your crops.

Q: Limit on Gifts?
A: Gift limit is set by Facebook and is not governed by the myFarm game. This limit is set over a 24 hour period which starts at midnight PST. This limit may change at any time.

Q: What is the translucent “play” button on animals in send gifts?
A: When you click on the Play button it makes the animals move so that you can see what actions they will perform when you place them on your farm.

Q: The following message appears at the top of my farm each day, what does it mean:
You have just earned $200 myFarm Cash and 1 gift unlock point for visiting myFarm today!
A: Each day that you log into myFarm you receive $200 myFarm Cash (not credits). The Gift unlock point goes towards unlocking gifts that you will be able to send to friends (trees & animals). When you first start playing the game you are able to send a minimum number of gifts and each time you log in you gain an additional gift unlock point. This is banked until you have enough to unlock the next gift. Once you have unlocked all of the gifts your points will be banked within the system and will go towards unlocking future gifts added to the game. Please note that the $200 is only added to the farm that you are in when you log off for the day (either Server A, B, C, D or E).

Q: Do you keep your smaller farm when you upgrade?
A: When you upgrade it effects all four of the farms you have on all the servers (the same is true if you downgrade). They will all upgrade to the larger size and you will no longer have the smaller farm.

Q:The Game Guide says there are three servers but I've heard people say there are four or five?
A: There are five servers available - A,B,C,D & E

Q: What is the faint shape between the plowing and harvesting tools?
A: This is a bag of fertilizer that may or may not be implemented in the game at some stage. It has no function at the moment.

Q: Why do I get less for my animals when I sell them than they cost me to buy?
A: Bear in mind that items like the barn and the woodshed were designed by the King in an effort to help myFarm farmers that have been playing for a long time. They had, over time, received an excess of free gifts sent to them that they had no way of getting rid of. For those purchasing trees and animals, be it with myFarm cash or credits, selling them is not a viable option. The King has said that this will change in the future. We will have to take care of the animals and trees on our farms by way of watering, feeding etc... This will effect the selling price of these items and prices will vary accordingly. There is no ETA on this at of this point in time.

Q: Do the fruit on my trees rot if I don't harvest them?
A: No, at this point in time the fruit on your trees can be left indefinitely. We suggest strongly that you keep an eye on the News and Updates section of the Forum for any changes that may be implemented in this regard.

Q: When I try to drag and drop the gifts in my Gifts Received box nothing happens. How do I get the gifts on my farm?
A: The only way to access your gifts is to click on the Gifts button located next to the Store button at the bottom of your farm screen. Once in the Gift bank you can click on each gift separately and move the gift onto your farm and into place. Do not try to drag at drop – it is a simple click and place maneuver.

Q: Can I send buildings, myFarm Cash or Credits to my friends?
A: These options are currently not available. You can send your friends money via PayPal to their PayPal account and they will then be able to purchase credits for their farm. They can then use the credits to purchase buildings or gifts for their farm.

Q: I have myFarm friends who have given up on the game and now all I see are their dead crops. Can I delete their farms without deleting them from my Facebook friends list?
A: The only thing you can do is to ask them to delete the myFarm application from their Facebook account. This will effectively remove their farm from your FRIENDS screen.

Q: Why is myFarm shaped like a diamond? It would be much easier to place my trees in straight lines if it was in a square shape.
A: The reason for this is that the diamond shape gives the images the appearance of depth or dimension. If it was a square it would appear as if you were looking straight down on it and all images e.g. horses, trees, buildings would be flattened and would have no dimension to them. Try to imagine looking a pop-up storybook with the book lying flat on a table. If you look straight down at it the pop-ups would just be straight lines out of the page with no characteristics, whereas, if you change your angle of view to 45 degrees all of a sudden the images have height and dimension.

Q: How do I find out what the game developments are and when they are coming?
A: Keep checking the threads posted under News and Updates section of the forum. Michael, the King, keeps us up-to-date on all game developments. He regularly posts links to pictures of upcoming features and sometimes has a link for us to vote on certain aspects of the game that he is thinking of implementing. Be warned – these threads do not stay up indefinitely so check that section regularly to stay in the loop.

Q: What will we see next on myFarm?
A: There is a list of upcoming game developments at the top of the Game Guide under the heading “Next additions”. We have now had some of these and other features have been added so we just have to wait and see what the developers surprise us with.

Q: Can I remove a building or an item like the woodshed from myFarm?
A: No you cannot. Michael, the King, has spoken about this becoming a reality in the future. No ETA on when this will be. If you have purchased an extra building and it is still sitting in your gift bank, you can place the spare building on one of your other farms. if you have a building you would like to remove there is currently a glitch you may use to this advantage. keep in mind you will not receive any compensation for the removed building. for instructions see this thread.

Q: I have lost an animal on my farm what do I do?
A: When you acquire new additions to myFarm e.g. buildings, you could accidentally place them on top of smaller animals, like chickens. They could also land up in front of other animals – move your buildings around to check that this hasn't happened to you.

Q: Will something happen to my chickens if they are not in the coop?
A: The chicken coop has no function at this point of the game therefore nothing will happen to your chickens if they are not placed in the coop.

Q: The chicken coops is not working when will this take effect (and other questions related to inoperative items on myFarm)?
There is no ETA on when these functions will be brought online. We strongly advise that you keep an eye on the News Section of the Discussion Board as the King updates this as soon as he makes changes to the game.

If you have the woodshed can you still harvest the fruit from the trees,I haven't been able to harvest anything from my trees?

Once the trees are ready for harvesting the HARVEST button will appear along with the MOVE and CUT AND SELL buttons. Take a look at the following question in this thread: When is the fruit ready to be harvested?

There is a link in the answer to that question which takes you to a document put together by a fellow farmer with pictures under Graphic Preview of the trees in their various stages (6 days of growth), and how the fruit changes until it is ready for harvesting. The trees should look like they do in the Cash Store and the Send Gifts to be ready for harvesting. Some people, who have waited longer than 6 days, have found it beneficial to move their trees to another location and when they come back they are ready to be harvested. These are all suggestions that you can try but you need to be sure that it has been a full 6 days since you planted them. They will then bear fruit ever three days after that.

The Move and Cut and Sell Options will always be active when you click on a tree - the Harvest option only becomes available when a tree is ready. Live, Love, Farm???

Just thought I'd type up some hints to help out some of our new players and veterans alike. ?

1) SLOW DOWN: Your farm isn't going anywhere. It's not on a countdown to vanish before you very eyes, so don't rush your plowing/clearing/planting/harvesting! One click at a time, and let the action save before moving on to do another. And unless you're running late and have it timed down to the very second when your tomatoes/strawberries are going to spoil, clicking like a maniac just to get through your work will not give you anything but a) Carpal Tunnel, and b) Lost profits and unsaved work.

2) BE PATIENT WITH YOUR TREES: Once again, this goes back to the whole, 'SLOW DOWN' thing. Trees, no matter what you're doing with them, cutting&selling/moving/harvesting/planting always have tendency to lag for a second at least, sometimes much more. For example, after you place a new gift tree and realize 'Hey..that isn't where I wanted it!', you may even need to 'refresh' your screen before you attempt to 'Move' said tree, because I myself have come to realize that if you try to move a fresh planted sapling, the saving message will become 'stuck'. Also, I've been hearing alot of complaints about people cutting and selling their trees on accident lately. If you just click slowly on the tree, you'll find that the 'Harvest' option now appears directly under the mouse pointer, and as long as you're being patient and not rapid-clicking them like you would to accept your gifts, there should be no reason why you're losing trees. Patience and a steady hand, are your best friends.

3) POINTING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION: Trees, unlike animals, will plant directly where you cursor's pointer finger is, rather than where the tree appears to be hovering. If you use the white translucent 'shadow' box that appears over your individual plots of land, you can easily map out a grid for your trees.

4) SIGFRIED, ROY, HOUDINI, MEET DAVID COPPERFIELD: I've been seeing alot of claims lately on the Support Page of people totally freaking out because they're farms have just up and disappeared. Don't panic, ladies and gents! *tips tophat* Let me tell you this for assurances....Farms do not just 'disappear' into thin air. This isn't Vegas, or some three-ring circus, there's no magic involved, you just have switched servers accidentally. Switch back until you find your farm. I guarantee, it's one one of the five servers, A, B, C, D, or E.

5) DOUBLE-CHECK: I have written out instructions on how to double-check your work before you switch servers, or exit the myFarm application for the day. You can find them here: :D Click me! :D

6) 6th Floor- MAPS, GUIDES, RUNAWAY BRIDES: Reading the GameGuide/FAQ oftentimes will solve alot of your commonly asked questions. There's troubleshooting information all over the place throughout the guide and these forums, our 'Search' feature is up and running and more than happy to help you find whatever it is you're looking for.
