I would like to see the option of being able to take care of a friends farm. Maybe charge a fee to the player who's farm is being cared for by someone else. Give each player part of the profits? This would save farm who's owners may have an emergency, vacation, computer trouble, etc. and can't get to a computer.

I would like to be able to donate part of my farm's profit to help struggling new farmer friends. Until they put up something else for me to buy, I have way more $$ than a respectable dirt scratcher needs.

Such a feature would have to be something that the home farmer could control though, otherwise people would be going nuts because other 'friends' were getting onto their farms and redesigning...

I know how much some people hate it when guests come to stay and start moving things around... imagine their dirty paws on your farm!

Holy cow-tipping.. If I could get my hands on some of my friends farms I would go to town. I have this disorder that makes me think my way is always the right way!!! LOL I guess it is a good thing that we can't get into others farms! I wouldn't mess with rearranging them, I would just harvest their trees and catch their crops before they die!!!

there are some apps that do things like, there are leaves all over this friend's farm, would u rake them please? and then u need to buy things like gloves, rake, sprinklers, plow, feed, stuff like that. Rather than the -u'll never see it happen- maybe this is a little more plausible. I REALLY can't see them allowing others, even friends to mess with farms. Although, it would be nice to harvest for a friend on vaca or knowing they wont get to those tomatoes before they go bad. Trees though- a lot of people like the trees in full fruit always.

What about " Farm for rent" : from - to period, pay fee x% of income, with limitations for harvesting trees and plowing&harvesting ?

Rather than real friends.. I would like to be able to hire a farm hand, direct him in his chores and have him take care of harvests if I am unable to.--That would be a virtual-farmhand.

I think it would be nice to be able to help my sister out. sometimes she is away and has no acces to the computer for two or three days and if it happens unexpectedly she may have a crop of tomatoes she cant harvest in time and they all rot. real bummer for her. I want to go harvest for her to save her the money but I cant. I understand why but surely there could be a way to autherize someone to care for your farm for a while?

This may be touchy, but if she's ur sister and willing to give you her FB password, then u could just log on as her and tend to it until the capability (if ever intended) comes on line. A farm hand is a neat idea, maybe it would reduce the profit on the crop harvesting though, since theoretically you'd be "paying" someone. Maybe the farm hand would only kick in right before the crops are due to spoil so its there in case of the unexpected, but you can still harvest your own crops if you like doing that. I'd love it if the farm hand would re-plow everything!!

Great Idea !! I'd love to also be able to give the barn, rustic shed and plants as gifts.
